Seymour College provides a broad, general education and a range of valuable extra curricular activities. The curriculum is designed to enable students to move one to further study or satisfying work and participate actively and effectively in the multi-cultural Australian society in which they live. The school is aware of the rapid pace at which society is changing and of the problems and uncertainties which may be generated by such change. We also recognise the high aspirations of parents. It therefore concerns itself with the total development of each student. Wide ranging opportunities are provided in sport and the arts in addition to the emphasis on academic achievement.
